In October 2016, Move was set up as a private family office in Auckland New Zealand. By 2018, Move had evolved to become a Multi-Family Office with a Multi-strategy product portfolio offering. Move is managed by Michael Carr-Smith as the Chief Investment Officer and is supported by a top tier custodian and administrator, Adminis Limited based in Wellington New Zealand.
